This is Lisbon Hostel is located in a full restored and redecorated XIX century building, in the old town district of Mouraria, just outside the wall of Castelo de São Jorge, Lisbon's castle, with an amazing view of Lisbonś rooftops. Our Hostel is a true Portuguese house full of charm, where tradition and comfort meet perfectly.
To guarantee the best comfort and cleanliness, we renovated all facilities, namely the bathrooms, and we installed heating system in every room. To keep the original character and unique atmosphere we restored the original lovely wooden floor and door arches and used the traditional Portuguese mosaic.
In Portugal, the living-room and the kitchen are the heart of the house, where the day begins and where in the end of the day family and friends meet to relax, to eat or just to put conversation in day!
Here you will find all the amenities to start your day, beginning with a free continental breakfast, informations to prepare your discovery of Lisbon, as well to end your day, like the big sofa where you can lay down while meeting people, drinking something from the bar or just reading a book!
The common kitchen is fully equipped and has at your disposal kitchenware and basic ingredients for you to easily cook, if you wish so.
Our huge terrace is the hostel must! Here you can relax and sunbath, while reading a book, writing a postcard, sharing your experiences or just appreciating the view over Lisbon and the bells of Graça Convent. It is the perfect spot to rest after a busy day in the city.
We also have computers with free internet access as well as free wireless internet for you to use. And our 24-hours Reception will be here to help you with everything, giving you precious information about Lisbon, booking you a trip to Sintra, or just calling you a taxi if you need so.
