Overview

	Restored Algarvian longhouse cottage in a peaceful setting just 7kms from the old Moorish captial of the Algarve - SILVES.
	Cottage has two letting double bedrooms, each with double bed and en-suite shower room. Ceiling fans, CD players in rooms. Sat tv in lounge. Facility to use laptop or retrieve emails (small charge may be applicable).
	Cottage is set in a private gated courtyard and the local houses are occcupied by our Portuguese neighbours - this is the 'real' Algarve.
	Beautiful views from our rooftop terrace over the citrus valley to the Monchique hills beyond.

Location & Transportation

Set on the crest of the ridge overlooking the Arade Valley, a fertile citrus growing region, producing the best oranges in Portugal! This is the real Algarve - quiet peaceful and well away from the madding crowd...although by no means remote. Silves is less than a 10 minute drive and you can be on any one of many beautiful beaches in 20 - 25 minutes.
Directions	Set off the EN124 between Messines and Silves
Transportation	Local bus route - trains within 8kms (Messines) - car recommended
Airport	Faro (40 min drive) - Lisbon ( 2.5 hour drive)
