Kovalam, a world-famous beach resort 14 km south of Thiruvananthapuram city, Kovalam has been a favourite haunt of tourists since 1930s. Kovalam has three crescent shaped beaches named Light House Beach, Hawah beach and Samudra Beach separated by rocky outcroppings. The beach offers many facilities for keeping tourists amused.
